Scene: Last night, around 9 pm. A knock on the door.
JENN opens the door to find a SALESMAN who is visibly thrown to be facing a foreigner.
SALESMAN: Nihongo? ("Japanese?")
JENN: Wakarimasen. ("I don't understand [Japanese].")
SALESMAN forcibly removes the door from JENN and shuts it in her face.
I had my own door shut in my face!
This is such a weird land.
